About Us
Our Mission
The Sebastian County Opioid Task Force, a committee of medical professionals, law enforcement, and general public members who are dedicated to work together to help reduce opioid addiction and prevent overdose deaths among youth and adults through programs and education to improve the quality of life in our community.

Prevention &
Education
Evidence-based programs that teach safe practices, raise awareness about opioid misuse, and reduce stigma.
Treatment & Recovery Resources
Helping individuals and families find access to treatment, peer support, and recovery networks.
Overdose Prevention & Response
Providing naloxone training and life-saving resources to first responders and the community.
Community
Collaboration
Partnering with healthcare, law enforcement, educators, and citizens to drive long-term change.
Annual Event
Annual Summit on Opioid Awareness & Recovery
Each April, we host the Sebastian County Opioid Summit — bringing together professionals, families, and community members to share knowledge and solutions.
The 2026 Summit highlighted prevention strategies, treatment access, and recovery success stories. Stay tuned for the 2027 Summit announcement.
